Play With This
I might be tied up for a little while this morn...bullocks to work. In the meantime, here's a cool toy that apparently Jakey Zeebs and I found at the exact same time.
It might make my Slack Song of the Day obsolete, but you can track down and easily stream fantastic songs like Walkin' in Memphis and Heart and Soul and Superfly and Africa and Escape (The Pina Colada Song) and Shining Star and Machine Gun. Oh, and many more...
Enjoy.

I fooled around with this thing last night and honestly thought the site would be shut down by the time I woke up this morning.
It can't be legal can it?
Shhh. Ixnay on the egallay.
This is the greatest thing ever. Well, since free downloading became a pain, anyway.
i was coming on here to post this link, i guess everyone found it. this site is absolutely amazing! if only i weren't in class right now, i'd be listening to everything.
i bet it works because they don't give out downloads, only stream. as a result, they can just pay the song writers licensing fees and the production fees, much in the same way radio stations buy licenses.
I think offpeak's right, that's exactly what I was thinking...
Either way, this thing is a Godsend.
Yeah, it's great. I tried 3 songs and none of them ever connected. Awesome.

You're comment is cool as shit., Gypsy. Cool as shit. Did you mean cool as in Fonzie or cool as in "Shit, she's gonna get us all busted?" If it's the latter, then, well, that sucks.
You thmell like peaaa thoooup.
The latter. Sorry about that. Think before you type. Think before you type.
I'm still never leaving the house though cause, "I'm always home... I'm uncool."
I don't think you can download the actual song. I think when you just right clicked, you saved some sort of other file. Check the file out, I could be wrong.
Currently listening to:
Mother Love Bone
"Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns"
No, seriously. It worked. I just checked.
I just downloaded and listened to "the Best" by Tina Turner. Complete with David Lee Roth side air kick. Not really. I'm old. But the download worked.
Actually. I'm wrong. You're right Handstand. No downloading. Nope. None nada nyet. My mistake.
Are you just saying that to get the Feds off our asses?
I thought so, unfortunately. Then this site would be all too good to be true. But I think the really geeky computer people out there know how to record streaming audio, so I guess they're the ones truly sitting at their computer sweating right now.
If a person wanted to download, they could try right clicking and hitting 'save as.' But that would be wrong wrong wrong. I certainly would not recommend it.
